Weekly Goals: May 18

I hope you had a good week!  I had one of the best weeks that I have had in quite awhile.  It was the perfect balance of relaxation, productivity, family time, and quiet introvert time.  I love weeks like that!

I actually managed to accomplish each of my goals from last week–that’s nearly a first.  Maybe this public accountability will really help me 🙂

I have enjoyed implementing my Evening Routine and working to Make Home My Happy Place.  These two activities have helped create a sense of peace and calm in our house.

Here were my goals from last week:

10 Weekly Goals

Spiritual:

1. Pray the Morning Prayers together as a family 4 mornings (we did this 6 mornings!  A record for us!)

2. Finish the Book of Acts

Professional:

3. Complete my Weekly Lesson Plans for next week

4. Enter all grades from last week

Family/ Home:

5. Clean Out Kids’ Drawers (take out winter clothing and assess summer clothing)

6. Buy and plant herbs (this is my first time trying this!)

7. Continue implementing my Evening Routine

8. Read to kids 5 days (7 days!)

Personal:

9. Read 2 books as a part of my Read 100 Challenge (I read three–The Power of Habit, The Raft, and The Running Dream)

10. Write 5 substantive blog posts

And, here are my goals for this week:

10 Weekly Goals

Spiritual:

1. Pray the Morning Prayers 5 Days as a family

2. Read 8 chapters of the book of Romans

Professional:

3. Complete my Weekly Lesson Plans for next week

4. Relax after students take the state test on Friday!

Homemaking/Family:

5. Organize closet in master bedroom

6. Organize hall closet

7. Read 5 days to kids (picture books to Little Brother and Sister and a Magic Tree House book to Big Brother)

8. Go strawberry picking as a family

Personal:

9. Read 1 book (I’m keeping it simple this week.  I will be starting Building A Better Teacher, which is pretty long.)

10. Write a guest post for another blog.

What are your goals for the week?  I’d love to hear about them!

Strawberrry picking sounds like a lot of fun. I can’t believe I haven’t thought about taking my daughter. Thank you for the idea!

We love going! We’re very fortunate to have several different orchards and berry farms around here. So, we go strawberry picking each spring, peach picking in the summer, and apple picking in the fall. My kids have fun, and I get to make jam afterward!

Congrats on getting all last week’s goals accomplished. I blog my goals monthly and it does help me focus on my goals. Blogging goals I am not doing too great with though. Still can’t get pageviews to where I want them. Thanks for sharing with Small Victories Sunday linkup.
