Weekly Goals June 22

So, I kind of fell off of the weekly goals bandwagon last week.  I don’t really have an excuse, but I’ll blame summer 🙂  I had one week off, and it was glorious.  We slept in, went on little adventures, and had a relaxing week.

I am beginning summer school today, so we will regain a routine.  I find that my personality type thrives on routine.  So, while I’ve enjoyed my last week and a half vacation, I am quite ready to get back to a more structured life.  I also hope it will help me do a better job on my goals!

Last Week’s Goals

Spiritual:

1. Pray the Morning Prayers together 4 mornings

2. Read 8 chapters of I Corinthians

Professional:

3. Develop my curriculum and daily routine for Summer School, which begins next week

Family/ Homemaking:

4. Create our summer routine

5. Start swimming lessons with Big Brother

6. Take children on a small outing (park, library, etc.) 3 days this week  (We went to the library, park, and on three play dates)

7. Declutter kids’ room and donate unused items

8. Weed garden

Personal:

9. Read 2 books (You can read more about what I read here.)

10. Work on my book 2 nights.

This Week’s Goals

Spiritual:

1. Pray the Morning Prayers together 4 mornings

2. Read 8 chapters of I Corinthians

Professional:

3. Get to know my summer school students

Family/ Homemaking:

5. Work with Sister on the alphabet

6. Do home school work with Big Brother four days (He goes to a public school, but the teacher in me wants to keep his mind active over the summer!  So, we are doing some math and writing together, in addition to the books that he is reading.)

7. Try 2 new recipes

Personal:

8. Read 2 books

9. Work on my book 2 nights

10. Start the 30 day abs challenge

What are your goals for the week?

I love your goals! I should start setting my own ones as well. So far I only set my business goals, but it is a great idea to write down some personal ones as well 🙂

I’ve been setting weekly goals for myself for a couple of years now. I don’t always reach each one, but I definitely get closer to where I want to go!
