Weekly Goals: July 6

Happy Monday!  How was your weekend?  We had a lovely Fourth of July weekend here at our house.  I love living in a small town!  We went to our local parade and activities  and really enjoyed feeling a part of the community.

In other news, we are now the owners of a set of bunk beds.  I feel that we have really arrived as parents 🙂  Our kids are having a great time (though I am not sure how much sleeping is going on now…)

This week was a fairly good week for goals, though I am definitely seeing a decline in my motivation right now.  Can I blame it on the mild summer weather?

Last Week’s Goals:

Spiritual:

1. Pray the Morning Prayers together 4 times (We managed 3 times)

2. Finish reading I Corinthians

Professional:

3.  Post one new Teachers Pay Teachers product to my store

Family/ Homemaking:

4. Have a movie night with my husband

5. Read to my kids 5 nights

6. Try 2 new recipes

7. Go to a splash park/ swimming pool with the kids

8. Mend two of my husband’s shirts that have tears in them

Personal:

9. Read 2 books (I read Counting by 7s–probably the best young adult book I’ve read this year–and Under the Egg.)

10. Work for 30 minutes on my book

This Week’s Goals:

Spiritual:

1. Morning Prayers 4 Days

2. Read 7 chapters of II Corinthians

Professional:

3. Add one product to my Teachers Pay Teachers store

Family/ Homemaking:

4. Play a game as a family

5. Read 5 nights to my children

6. Have a play date at the park with friends from church

7. Get a replacement Social Security card for my son (I have been putting this off for awhile because I just can’t bear the thought of waiting in line with all three kids!)

8. Thoroughly clean the house

Personal:

9. Read 2 books (I am planning on reading In Defense of Food and Seeing Red this week.)

10. Work on my book for 30 minutes

What are your goals this week?
