Weekly Goals July 20

It’s vacation time!  I love road trips, and this year is no exception.  We are visiting our relatives in Texas and Oklahoma for nearly three weeks.   The kids love spending time with grandparents, and my husband and I love a break from work.  Sigh.

So, my goals this week reflect the more relaxed pace of our vacation with family.

Last Week’s Goals

Spiritual:

1. Morning Prayers 3 Days

2. Finish II Corinthians

Professional:

3. Finish Summer School assessments

Family/ Homemaking:

4. Do all laundry in preparation for our trip

5. Clean house

6. Print out list of all rest stops on our travel route

7. Have an in-house movie date night with my husband  (We didn’t get a chance to watch a whole movie.  We did watch a little American Ninja Warrior together.  Is anyone else addicted to that show? 🙂 )

8. Go to the library with my kids

Personal:

9. Read two books

10. Write all blog posts for next week  (I almost made this, but I still have a couple to do this week.)

This  Week’s Goals:

Spiritual:

1. Morning Prayers 3 mornings (we often have a hard time doing this on vacation)

2. Read Galatians

Family:

3. Have a date night with my husband (Thanks to the generosity of grandparents!)

4. Make sure the kids get a rest time each afternoon

Personal:

5. Read 1 book (I have several along with me: So Good They Can’t Ignore You, The Namesake, The Dinner, and Twenties Girl.  I’m trying to read some adult fiction now, since I read a lot of YA novels during summer school.)

6. Call 2 friends I haven’t seen in a long time and catch up

What are your goals this week?
