At times people have asked for my recommendations or thoughts on various items. I thought I would put all of my favorite items and services in one place to make them easier to find. Although some of these links are affiliate links (meaning that if you purchase them I may receive a small commission, at no additional cost to you), these are all goods or services that I have used myself and would heartily recommend to my friends.

Swagbucks Swagbucks is a program that allows you to earn points for searching the web through their search engine. You can also watch videos, answer surveys, and complete other tasks to earn additional points. These points add up to free gift cards! I have earned over $150 in Amazon gift cards through Swagbucks, which I use to purchase gifts for Christmas.

Elite Blog Academy My blog really began taking off once I enrolled in Elite Blog Academy. Consider EBA a graduate course in blogging. With 12 challenging units to take your blog from hobby to business, you can learn at your own pace and still experience results. For example, before I began EBA, I had around 8,000 pageviews per month. Now I get around 40,000 per month. That is quite an increase! Elite Blog Academy only opens its doors once a year, but you can also sign up to be on the wait list.
Building a Framework: Everything I Learned My First Year of Blogging My blogging mentor Abby Lawson (of Just a Girl and Her Blog) has the most comprehensive guide to starting a blog that you will ever find. She walks you through the process all the way from purchasing your domain name to designing your blog to earning income. There are three different package options available to suit all budgets. This is the book I used when I began my blog!
Bluehost When you start your blog, you will need a host–basically it’s like paying rent for a space on the Internet. I use Bluehost and have been VERY happy with them. There have been a few times where I have had technical questions about my blog, and I was able to live chat with them and get the problems resolved immediately. Their prices are also extremely reasonable. I pay $3.99 per month for hosting.
Share a Sale Once you have started your blog, there are several ways to begin earning money from it. One of the easiest that I’ve found is to become an affiliate with Share a Sale. It is very easy to get accepted into their program, and their website is incredibly simple to understand and use. Share a Sale helps you meet up with and become an affiliate for a variety of companies–while having only one account and receiving one monthly payment. Simple and effective.
I hope you find the resources helpful!
